Hello Everyone!
Graduation is approaching, which is always one of those times that we look back and reflect. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2012. I am so grateful to have a continued connection to Madison, work with amazing students, and be on campus frequently. To this day I still believe it is one of the best places in the world.
Some of my favorite places back from when I was a student are still the same today while others have changed, but that’s part of the beauty of Madison, always changing, but also always feels like home.
Given the spirit of the time of year I wanted to recall some of my Top Seven favorite memories and places.
GAME DAY: Tailgating, Walking in the Sea of Red to Camp Randall, The Jump Around, Varsity, and the Fifth Quarter
+ Beating Ohio State and Rushing the Field at Camp Randall.
Having a Beer and a Brat on the Union Terrace
Tray Sledding on Observatory
Farmers Market: Finding cheese curds, flowers, and hot spicy cheese bread
Graduation Day – I had the honor of speaking at my graduation commencement. That was a day I will never forget.
I am sure some of these you share and other’s may be new, but these are the moments that bring us all together as Badgers where we feel part of something truly great and amazing. I will always say that UW-Madison is one of the best places in the world, because I feel it and it’s true.
Happy Graduation, Badgers! Here’s to whatever comes next!
