Hi All!
This is Katie Lorenz - owner/founder of Campo Alpaca - back with this month's behind-the-scenes update.
I have to start with some big news: this has been our biggest month of orders we've ever had. This year is shaping up to be our largest growth year to date, and I am so grateful to every single one of you who has supported us along the way. None of this happens without you.
THE GOOD STUFF
We're growing! As I mentioned, we just had our biggest orders ever. It's thrilling and humbling at the same time, and it's all hands on deck around here to keep up.
The yarn shortage is easing. As some of you know from last month's update, we ran into an alpaca yarn shortage this year. The good news: our suppliers and the relationships we've built in Peru over the years are carrying us through. We've got what we need, and the whole team is back to work.
A brand new MINI market - Michigan! I'm so excited about this one. We're launching a tiny, super small-batch drop just for Michigan. If you're from Michigan, make sure you're subscribed to our emails so you don't miss it - quantities will be very limited!
A HARD GOODBYE
This month also brought a loss that's been tough on all of us here. Mr. Mark, our family dog and an honorary member of the Campo team, crossed the rainbow bridge this month. Many of you will recognize him from our photos over the years. He had the best life, and he brought so much joy into mine. Thank you to everyone who has reached out - it means more than you know.
WHAT'S NEXT
This summer we're diving into a website and brand glow up - complete with a brand new photoshoot and video work. I am SO excited for this one and can't wait to share sneak peeks as it comes together.
We're also continuing to grow our wholesale relationships - bringing Campo alpaca goods into more boutiques, farm stores, and shops across the country. If you know a shop that might be a great fit, send them our way!
We are hard at work growing this company. It's a very exciting and busy time. Please feel free to reach out anytime - questions, words of encouragement, feedback, or if you want to get involved. Let me know.
Have a great month!
Katie Lorenz
