Hello, Campo Family — We're Back! 👋🦙

Hi everyone! Katie here.
If you've noticed things have been a little quiet on our end lately — you're not wrong. The first part of this year has had us heads-down and hard at work: deepening our supplier relationships with our incredible artisan partners in Peru, building out new products, and doing something we're really excited about — opening up Campo wholesale. More on that in a second.
But quiet doesn't mean we haven't been thinking about you. In fact, one of the things I've wanted to do for a long time is get more personal with our community. So starting now, I'll be sending out a monthly newsletter — written by me, directly to you — sharing what's really going on inside Campo. Think of it as a behind-the-scenes pass to everything we're building.
Here's what you can expect each month:

- Our in-person event & market schedule — where to find us and come say hi
- Peru tips & travel insights — as we get closer to Peru's prime tourism season, I'll be sharing my personal favorites, insider knowledge, and everything you need to know if Peru is on your bucket list
- Ways to get involved — because every single interaction, share, purchase, and kind word makes a real difference to us and to our partners in Peru. Thank you for being part of this journey.

1. Come See Us at the Midwest Alpaca Fest 🦙
Next weekend — Alliant Energy Center, Madison, Wisconsin
This is one of our favorite events of the year and we would LOVE to see you there.
The Midwest Alpaca Festival is exactly what it sounds like — and it is every bit as wonderful as you're imagining. Meet real, live alpacas. Hug them. Take approximately one million photos with them. Talk to the farmers who dedicate their lives to caring for these amazing animals. Shop incredible small businesses in the vendor hall. Grab some food. Bring your friends, your family, your kids, your parents — honestly anyone who could use a great day out.
Oh, and did we mention? It's completely free.
Come find the Campo booth, say hello, try on some gear, and experience firsthand why we are so obsessed with this fiber and the animals behind it. We'll see you there!

2. We're Hiring! 🙌
Do you love talking to people? Do you get excited sharing a great story? Are you the kind of person who can set up a tent, charm a crowd, and pack it all back up with a smile?
We are looking for you.
Campo is growing our in-person market team and we need a friendly, enthusiastic human to join us at events — primarily on weekends in the Madison area and surrounding towns. Your job would be to share the Campo story, connect with customers, and sell our gear at markets. Some heavy lifting is involved for setup and teardown, but the rest is just fun.
The best part? It's totally flexible. Sign up for one market, a few, or become our go-to consistent part-time team member — whatever works for your schedule. We'd especially love someone who wants to grow with us long-term.

3. Campo Is Now Open for Wholesale 🛍️
This is something we've been building toward for a while, and we're thrilled to officially announce it — the Campo wholesale channel is open!
If you know of any high-end boutiques, gift shops, golf shops, fair trade stores, or specialty retailers that would be a great fit for Campo goods — please send them our way, or send us a message and we'll take it from there.
Alpaca is a product that sells itself once people feel it. If you know a shop owner who values quality, sustainability, and a great brand story — we'd love an introduction.
