Pssst… It’s Campo Dad’s Birthday! 🎉
Monday, 9/21 is my Dad’s birthday — AKA Campo Dad. Campo Dave. 🎂
Many of you have met him at the markets and pop-ups we do, and if you have, you already know:
He is a fabulous salesman, very passionate, and SO much fun.
I’m incredibly happy and grateful for the support my Dad has given me my whole life, and especially for the support he’s given me since I started Campo.
Because while Campo may have started with me and a Wisconsin alpaca sweater, it has absolutely been a family-run business from the beginning. Campo Dad / Dave has been a HUGE part of it.
He has helped haul inventory, set up markets, talk to customers, sell sweaters, give me his very honest opinions, and generally do whatever needs to be done. He is one of Campo’s biggest cheerleaders — and I truly could not do this without him.
So, in honor of the biggest supporter of Campo Alpaca, we’re celebrating Campo Dad’s birthday with a MYSTERY SALE!
Monday 9/21 – Tuesday 9/22
The sale will be a mystery because, well… it’s Dad’s birthday and we’re allowed to have a little fun with it. 😉
But I couldn’t let the occasion pass without asking Dad to share his favorite Campo products.
And, as it turns out, Dad has some VERY strong opinions.
🧦 Dad’s #1: Campo Anklets
Dad’s first choice is the Campo Anklets.
He loves how soft they are, but his favorite thing is that his feet don’t sweat in them.
And he has the longevity to prove it:
“Mine have lasted seven years.”
SEVEN. YEARS.
That’s a pretty solid product review from Campo Dad.
🧥 Dad’s #2: Wisconsin Zip Up Sweaters
Next up are the Wisconsin Zip Up Sweaters.
Dad loves that they’re easy to get on and off — but more importantly, they make him look great while supporting his teams.

🧶 Dad’s #3: Nazca Blankets
The Nazca Blankets are another Dad favorite.
His review:
“They are so soft and warm and just the right thickness.”
Honestly, I think Dad has nailed it. They’re cozy without being too heavy, making them perfect for the couch, the cabin, the office, or basically anywhere you want to be warm and comfortable.
🧢 Dad’s #4: Campo Beanies
And finally: the beanies.
Dad has a beanie from when I first started Campo years ago — and he still loves it.
His issue with most hats? They’re either too hot, too cold, or itchy.
His Campo beanie?
“It’s great!”
