How many years has it been since you interned at CAMPO?
One Year
Can you describe your internship experience at CAMPO? What were your responsibilities?
Managed social media pages, wrote blogs and articles,  worked on email marketing, and helped with the PR team
Where are you now in your professional career?
I graduated this past spring and I’m currently working as an editorial intern with a marketing agency in Minneapolis
Why did you decide to join CAMPO? What struck out to you about the company?
I really loved all of the positive social and environmental impact that Campo works to create and I wanted to be a part of that. I could also just tell how passionate Katie is about making Campo a force for good and she was an incredible person to work with for my first internship! She made it clear right away that the internship would allow me to dip my toes into all sorts of marketing responsibilities which ended up teaching me so much.
Do you believe that CAMPO can create a positive impact on other communities and the environment?
Absolutely! Campo works closely with workers in Peru to ensure that the people creating the products are empowered and have fair working conditions. Campo’s products are also sustainable and long lasting in addition to being beautiful quality. I think this definitely lends itself to creating a positive impact on communities and the environment.
What did you enjoy most about your internship experience at CAMPO?
I loved working with Katie and all the other interns that were with me at the time! Every week I really looked forward to our meetings where we were able to collaborate and talk about project ideas. I feel like my Campo internship definitely pushed me to be really creative.  The team was always so supportive and kind towards everyone’s ideas.
How has your CAMPO internship created an impact on your professional development and career?
It was incredibly valuable for me to be able to test out such a wide variety of responsibilities in my Campo internship. I think this allowed me to better narrow down the things that I enjoy doing and helped me decide which types of roles to seek out next. I also know that all of the experience I gained with Campo will continue to be useful in my future career.
